This person must accurately maintain our financial records and record all the day to day financial transactions; including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, billing, payroll, tax returns, inventory and ensure compliance with applicable Honduran standards, in conjunction with the Accountant.
Job duties include working closely with the administration & the accountants to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage billing invoices and tax payments.
Requirements and Skills:
- Fluent in English
- 3 + years experience in similar bookkeeping roles
- Bachelor´s degree in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping or Business Administration is a plus
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills, along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software like MS Office, Email and Calendar Software, QuickBooks and Accounting Software
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy, organization and attention to detail
