We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Manager of Real Estate Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a variety of properties, from single-family houses to mixed-use commercial and residential towers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Property Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a property.
- Implement effective property management strategies to maximize property values and tenant satisfaction.
2. Lease Administration:
- Lead lease negotiations and ensure compliance with lease terms.
- Oversee the administration of lease agreements, handling renewals, modifications, and tenant-related issues.
3. Utilities Management:
- Coordinate metering and billing of public utilities for all properties.
- Optimize utility usage while ensuring regulatory compliance.
4. Maintenance and Repairs:
- Manage maintenance teams and contractors to address minor repairs promptly.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance property conditions.
5. Financial Oversight:
- Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage property budgets.
- Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse range of properties.
2. Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
3. Communication Skills:
- Excellent bilingual (English and Spanish) written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, team members, and other stakeholders.
4. Negotiation Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills with a keen ability to secure favorable lease terms.
