We are seeking a seasoned Resident Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive individual with 8-10 years of engineering experience, particularly in managing construction sites and overseeing project operations from conception through completion. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge of procurement processes, estimations, and budget management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations at construction sites, acting as the primary point of contact for contractors, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with legal and quality standards.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and feedback to engineering teams.
- Select contractors for in-house projects.
- Conduct detailed project cost analyses, prepare estimates, and manage budgets to maximize resource efficiency.
- Implement robust project management frameworks to monitor project progress, handle any issues that arise, and ensure deadlines are met.
