Position Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing,  and maximizing  local, regional, and international marketing plans for the  Honduras Próspera Inc and its related entities across Central America and  internationally, while being responsible for consistent messaging and  positioning across all marketing channels.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Budgeting and Planning

• Manage the marketing subdivision and its team of the Strategy &  Marketing department

• Prepare, execute, and evaluate the annual marketing plan

• Ensure adherence to an annual marketing budget.

• Review the budget at regular intervals and appraise the management  on quality and quantum of utilization.

• Update the marketing team on the brand budget utilization

• Assist the Head of Marketing Department in delivering the overall  performance of the marketing unit.

• Provide monthly reports


• Build, maintain and enhance the company's and project's image.

• Maintain relationships with agencies and vendors for efficient  execution of branding exercises

• Ensure that the entire brand building strategies/exercise are  implemented consistently across all regions.

Marketing Activities

• Develop an Annual Marketing Activity Calendar in consultation with the rest of the PR, Sales & Marketing Team

• Liaise with the external agencies to design and develop forthcoming  events and promotional material (above the line and below the line)  and ensure timely dispatch of the same

• Develop and implement new channels for communication with the  customers

• Manage a loyalty program in all facets to ensure increase in the  perception level of the program.

• Manage and implement the direct marketing initiatives by  communicating directly to customers via mailers, brochures etc.

Campaign & Media Planning

• Develop a yearly and quarterly media plan

• Review the effectiveness of each marketing expenditure and provide steps for improvements and corrective actions

Market Research

• Partner with Sales & Marketing teams for periodic market research to study the effectiveness of the media campaign by evaluating the return on investment from the campaign.

**Requirements & Qualifications: **

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar  field.
  • Post-graduate Degree in Marketing preferred, but not required.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a senior marketing role in a  corporate environment.
  • Extensive experience in executing and implementing strategies to  meet company objectives.
  • Experience in the private sector with multiple brands/projects under  management is highly desired.
  • Knowledge and experience in the real estate industry preferred.
  • Working experience in other multicultural markets is considered an  advantage.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
